TMC membership criteria and categories

Due to numerous requests from interested individuals regarding membership, TMC thought it prudent to enlighten such individuals of the various categories of membership and the criteria applied.

Associate membership

Managers 35 years or below may apply for membership, if they are holding an academic/professional qualification, with three years in management. In order to encourage younger managers to join TMC, their entrance fee would be reduced by 50%.

Spouse membership

Existing members’ spouses are eligible to apply for this category of membership provided however they are in employment. Such spouse members will be exempt from entrance fees and would pay reduced annual fees.

Ordinary membership

Individuals of any age group, who possess an academic/professional qualification, with five years in management may apply. Such members will be expected to pay the usual entrance and annual fees. Such annual fees would be prorated and paid if such members join during midway during the year.

Life membership

This category of membership was introduced during the early formative years of TMC, and is currently not available.Platinum membership

An exclusive category of membership which was introduced recently, is to be limited to 25 prospective members only, and would be applicable for 10 years with enhanced benefits and privileges.

Corporate membership

A minimum of five managers from one corporate entity (provided they satisfy the criteria stated above) may apply for membership as a corporate member of TMC at substantially reduced entrance and annual fees. Such membership of individuals belonging to the corporate entity may interchange their membership on the resignation of such members. A corporate member is entitled to one vote only.

All prospective applicants will need to provide a brief profile of themselves prior to formally applying for membership.
