Although a membership directory has been published a few times many years ago, a comprehensive directory had been on the cards in recent times. The Board of Management has thought it fit to have one published to coincide with the 20th anniversary of TMC in February 2022.Discussion is in progress, as to what its likely content, format and general information would be, in order that it could be made a useful publication for the members and their families.
Since this directory will and for all purposes become a historical publication, several items of interest have been suggested apart from the membership details. A letter will shortly be sent to members to provide as much information of themselves such names, year of joining, residential address, official address, current employment and contact details.
It has been further suggested that a separate section be assigned to all those who were the original founder members, those who have resigned, migrated, retired and passed away as well.
The Club’s gradual progress over the years, from its initial proposal to the formation to what it is today, may provide some historical information to the new members. A committee headed by one of its committed founder members, currently on the Board of Management is likely to be tasked with this responsibility.
The publication may well have various other related management information, major events held, together with photographs will perhaps make this a ‘must have’ publication. Further news of the launch will follow soon.
