Amal Wickrematunga new BMC Chairman

Amal Wickrematunga yesterday assumed duties as the Chairman of the Building Materials Corporation (BMC) which comes under the purview of the Ministry of Housing and Samurdhi. He has previously served as the Deputy Chairman of the Water Board, Senior Assistant Secretary to the Media Ministry, Director of the Sri Lanka Censor Board, Director of the National Youth Council (NYC) and Secretary of the Sucharitrha Foundation. The Building Materials Corporation (BMC) was established in 1971 by the then Minister of Construction and Housing Pieter Keuneman.
