Apparel industry aligns technology with emerging young design talent at SLDF 2011

Sri Lanka Apparel’s campaign to become the South Asian apparel hub requires ‘design’ that will lead the high tech garment industry. In keeping with this crucial requirement, Academy of Design (AOD) showcased a few model industry-design integration projects at the Sri Lankan Apparel fashion show during SLDF.

Some of the projects were a design led Shirt Dress Project with Emerald Shirts, A swimwear Project with MAS Linea Aqua, Backward integration projects with Textured Jersey and Coats Thread Lanka along with a Jeans and tailored jacket project with Orit Garments.
