Apple is one of the most successful brands in the world valued at 500 billion dollars and ranked as the most valuable company around the globe. However, that success was not an easy feat for the company.
Apple’s legendary CEO, Steve Jobs- designer, businessman and inventor was the man who transformed Apple for the better. Jobs knew the importance of design and its impact on the business community. While most companies saw ‘design’ as a secondary thing that simply beautifies products, Steve Jobs understood that design as a key value addition in today’s competitive world that can make or break a company.

Apple creative is currently led by Jonathan Ive, who was recently awarded a Knighthood for his exceptional services to humanity, using the power of design and creativity. Sir Jonathan Ive was trained to become a designer at the Northumbria University School of Design- one of UK’s premier design schools. Northumbria University School of Design now offers award winning degrees to South Asian youth through Sri Lanka’s AOD.
