In the month of April Elephant House Ice Cream recorded sales of a staggering 2 million litres of ice cream which counts to 21 million servings nationwide.

Citing this record sale Ceylon Cold Stores (CCS) said Elephant House is the undisputed leader in the ice cream market and consumers have proven that it is the most loved ice cream brand.

CCS said a key ingredient to its success lies in the team work which Elephant House Ice Cream exhibits creating high levels of synergy towards one common goal of serving the nation. Never losing sight of market realities, Elephant House Ice Cream continuously reengineers to reinforce its brand values

“Our success starts at the very root and reaches far beyond those based at our office. Starting from our Vanilla farmers in Matale to Cashew farmers in Ampara to our Karutha Kollumban farmer in Killinochchi everyone is responsible for this achievement. Elephant House has over 10,000 farmers and over 25,000 retailers in the trade network who are responsible for taking the products closer to the consumer,” Elephant House Head of Frozen Confectionery Neil Samarasinghe said.

Going beyond the shores, Elephant House Ice Cream holds over 47% market share in Maldives beating many internationally recognized labels.
