Asian Paints to power SLIA Fellowship Nite

Asian Paints entered into a partnership with The Sri Lanka Institute of Architects (SLIA) as a Sponsor for the Fellowship Nite. The Memorandum of Understanding associated with this partnership was signed between the two parties at a ceremony held at the SLIA recently. Speaking at the event, SLIA President Archt. Prof. Chitra Weddikkara said, “I would like to thank Asian Paints for their generous sponsorship for our Fellowship Nite. It is indeed an honour to enter into a partnership with a company such as Asian Paints which is reputed for its product quality and outstanding service to the customers.” Asian Paints has established themselves as one of the most prominent companies of Sri Lanka and this partnership between the SLIA and Asian Paints precedes the ‘Architect 2014’, the annual sessions of SLIA, scheduled to be held from 19 to 23 February at the BMICH, Colombo. The National Conference based on the theme ‘Architecture, Envisioning Futures’, will host a number of presentations by locally and internationally reputed professionals. The Members’ Works and Trade Exhibition will create the opportunity for the public to see architectural creations by many architectural practices in Sri Lanka. The Trade Exhibition will also create the opportunity for the public to see a range of materials available in the industry.
