Astron strikes Gold at NASCO Awards

Astron Ltd, the reputed Sri Lankan pharmaceutical manufacturing and marketing company, clinched the Gold Award for the Territory Manager category and the Gold and Silver Award for the Sales Executive/Supervisor category in the healthcare sector at the National Sales Congress (NASCO) 2014 Awards ceremony held at the Water’s Edge recently. NASCO is an annual event organized by the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) held for the 14th consecutive year since its inception in the year 2000. The Gold for the territory manager category was won by Roshan Karunathilake while the Gold and Silver Awards for the Sales Executive/Supervisor category were won by Hasanka Kodagoda and Charaka Dias Dahanayake all of Astron Ltd. The NASCO event is organized with the objective of raising the standard of sales professionalism in Sri Lanka and to recognize, reward and motivate sales professionals to enhance their value proposition to the achievement of corporate sales objectives and is the premier event in Sri Lanka empowering professionals in sales. It is conducted annually for the sales professionals and recognizes sales excellence at national level. Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) which is the national body for marketing in Sri Lanka carries out national level events such as Effie Awards, Brand Excellence Awards, Peoples’ Awards and NASCO.
