A well-experienced team of Sri Lankans specialising in the areas of research development and marketing of high performance building chemicals in association with internationally-renowned major multinational admixture chemical companies, came together to form Betton Lanka in 2013.
“Our main focus is to provide the Sri Lankan market with locally manufactured products that are suitable and relevant to the local construction Industry needs. From high performance admixture for the ready-mix and pre-cast concrete industry to industrial commercial and residential flooring including fast track system, we can deliver a world class level of construction services,” said Ramiah Srikanthan, Managing Director of Betton Lanka.
“We specialise in providing concrete repairs refurbishment and retrofitting products including spray applied coloured plasters for new and old buildings, high chemical and abrasion resistant coating, lining and screed for protection of concrete and steel against aggressive acids, alkalise and solvents in basic and petro chemical industry.”
In partnership with internationally-renowned specialist applicators, Betton Lanka is equipped with the capability to offer apply and supply services with one point responsibility for product performance warranty against any defects or failures, added Ramiah.
Partnering Betton Lanka is Steve Newsome , Managing Director of KME Fast Track System Solutions FZC who counts over 42 years of experience in this industry; 20 years in the middle East based in Dubai where he was the MD at Ardex, Fosroc and other Europe’s largest construction chemical companies.

Backed by top end world leaders in the construction industry such as Knopp of Germany, Resdev of UK and Metz of Australia, Betton Technology Lanka is equipped towards delivering total system solutions from foundation to the final product of any modern high rise building, said Ramiah Srikanthan.
Betton Lanka is currently manufacturing concrete admixtures and surface treatment products at their plant in Biyagama with a daily production capability of 30,000 litres; this can be doubled subject to market demand, added Ramiah. “Betton Lanka is also in the process of setting up a separate manufacturing facility for powder and resin based product and this facility will be up and running by the third quarter 2014.”
All product manufactured by Betton Lanka are in keeping with strict compliance of relevant BS and ASTM standards, achieved with technical knowhow from highly reputable international companies.
