Multi-stakeholder event to focus on coastal and marine tourism development
The Sri Lanka Business and Biodiversity Platform is holding a discussion on ‘Business Risks and Opportunities in Coastal and Marine Tourism Development’ on Thursday 25 July 2013. The event will provide an opportunity to hear from experts in the fields of marine ecology and hotel development, and discuss questions and concerns with those at the forefront of green development in Sri Lanka.
The discussion will commence at 3 p.m. in the West Wing Auditorium of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (50, Navam Mawatha, Colombo 2). Presentations will be made by Arjan Rajasuriya on ‘Dependency on Marine and Coastal Resources: Risks and Opportunities’ and Srilal Miththapala on ‘Exploiting Coastal and Marine Resources for Tourism and Facing up to the Challenges,’ followed by a question and answer session, open to the audience.
