CCI launches ‘Build SL 2015 Expo’

The Chamber of Construction Industry of Sri Lanka (CCI) announced the launch of its 11th annual trade fair, the ‘Build SL 2015 – Construction and Regenerating Expo,’ to be held at the BMICH, Colombo from 29 to 31 May. The exhibition will be organised around the theme of highlighting the country’s recent positive growth

and development in rural and urban areas with a particular focus on many anticipated large-scale development projects of the future. Exhibits are also expected to showcase new technology and construction techniques available to the industry while drawing attention to the achievements and improving capacity of domestic construction companies. Opportunities for urban regeneration and other infrastructure projects in Sri Lanka will also be promoted to local and foreign investors. Simultaneous to the launch, the CCU also released the fourth edition of its Construction Industry Trade and Business Directory 2014/2015, the first copy of which was presented to Minister of Housing and Samurdhi Sajith Premadasa, who was the Chief Guest at the event.
