Celebrate the season in style at the Galadari

The Galadari Hotel is offering a sensational seasonal line-up for 2014 which includes tempting offers and fantastic food promotions that will enable you to celebrate the holidays in style.

‘Seasonal Cocktails’ takes place at the Lobby Bar from 1-31 December, while ‘Tempting Seasonal Goodies’ will be on offer at the Goodie Hut in the Lobby from 12-31 December. The deal will see the hotel’s chefs conjure up a hearty offering of seasonal goodies including Christmas cake, puddings, pies, gingerbread cookies, chocolates, etc. ‘A letter to Santa’ is another promotion available at the Lobby from 12-24 December. Kids drop in a letter to Santa Claus at Santa’s Mail Box at the Lobby which will be delivered straight to him. These kids will then get a present from Santa himself on Christmas Day while enjoying a lavish Christmas buffet. ‘A Christmas High Tea’ then takes place at the Lobby Bar on 21 December where a broad high tea spread will be available. ‘Christmas Eve Dinner’ will then be held at the Coffee Shop on 24 December, followed by ‘Lunch with Santa’ at the same venue from 12 noon on Christmas day. The event will also make Christmas memorable for all the children in attendance by giving them a chance to make an appointment with Santa to join them at their table for lunch. Other additions to the day include a gift from the mail box, a magic show by Ronald de Alwis, a free photograph, live music by Kismet and carols by Choro Calibre from 1.00 p.m. to 1.30 p.m. There is also the option of enjoying ‘An Elegant Christmas’ at the California Grill with a four-course dinner set menu on 24 December from 7.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m. ‘Christmas Dinner Buffet’ is then on at the Coffee Shop on 25 December. This lavish buffet will feature all the best traditional Christmas goodies with the finest selection of wines and spirits as well as music by Kismet. A ‘Gala Dinner’ is then on at the Coffee Shop on 31 December, providing diners with a chance to enjoy an international dinner buffet while heralding in the New Year. This can also be done at ‘New Year’s Eve’ at the Margarita Blue on 31 December, where visitors to Colombo’s hottest pub can celebrate the dawn of the New Year in style. It’s ‘A New Beginning’ at California Grill on 31 December where customers can experience the New Year in the most romantic of settings. For lovers of the most decadent array of Christmas goodies, Café 64 has their perfect festive fix. Some of the delicious items on offer include takeaway Christmas cakes, cookies, puddings, minced pies and Yule logs.
