Ceylon Continental extends popular Mexican pub lunch

Due to the popular demand, Ceylon Continental Hotel will be extending the Mexican food feast during Pub Lunch till 23 December at the Heist Bar.

The promotion will feature a spicy and mouth watering range of delicious ethnic dishes highlighting Mexico’s authentic cuisine which replicates the country’s rich lively culture.

The staples of Mexican cuisine are typically corn and bean, from tamales to tortillas and gorditas; it is incorporated in almost every Mexican dish.

The meat is thoroughly marinated and sautéed in the flavour of peppers, onions, garlic and coriander; the most dominant herb in Mexican cuisine.  

This consistent recipe is then varied to an array of quick and hearty meals such as Tacos, Burritos, and Chalupas.  

All the dishes will be offered with a variety of side sauces, such as tangy sour cream, zesty salsa and fresh guacamole.

For a whole month between noon and 2p.m., the Heist Bar will offer an unmatched appreciation of Mexican food and culture, the Mexican pub lunch will be at a reasonable price of Rs. 450 nett and it is also inclusive of one soft drink.

In addition, a bucket of your favourite Mexican brews (six bottles) – Rs. 1500 nett inclusive of one Chili Con Carne portion will be available all throughout the day.
