Christmas on Wings 2014: A celebration of peace, joy and goodwill

The Choir of SriLankan Airlines will present its annual Christmas special to usher in the festive season with the ‘Christmas on Wings 2014’ to be held on Saturday, 13 December from 6 p.m. onwards at the Kularathne Hall in Ananda College, Colombo 10.

An exciting line up of entertainment that includes much loved Christmas carols, music, song, drama and dance will celebrate the embodiment of the true essence and message of the birth of Jesus Christ, which is of Peace, Joy and Goodwill. This show has reached a milestone with this being the 31st consecutive year for which it has been running. The production of this event, managed entirely by the Airline’s staff, will have over fifty employees and their family members representing the rich cultural, ethnic and religious diversity of SriLankan Airlines unite on stage to perform at this occasion. This year’s theme will be ‘Santa’s Dream’ and promises to be a memorable evening for the audience and is certain to set alight the festive season.

Sharing and giving being the spirit of Christmas is not forgotten as the organising committee of ‘Christmas on Wings’ plans to arrange a Christmas party for 165 inmates of the Moratuwa Elders Home on 19 December. SriLankan Airlines welcomes the members of the public to join in the celebrations and be a part of this evening musical extravaganza.
