Construction Expo 2015, Sri Lanka’s most comprehensive exhibition featuring each and every factor related to the construction and building industry is scheduled to be held on 12, 13, 14 June at BMICH.
The Ceylon Institute of Builders (CIOB) together with presidential award winner Lanka Exhibitions and Conference Services will be organising this mega event for the fourth consecutive year. The construction fraternity fully endorses this event as one of the premier construction and building materials exhibitions to be staged in Sri Lanka.
Over the years, the exhibition has been the most sought after gathering place for consumers, on the lookout for different facets related to the construction industry in terms of products and service providers. Exhibitors have found the exhibition to be the most potent and comprehensive platform to meet new customers and network.
“This year, Const-ruction Expo 2015 will feature numerous concurrent and new events to supplement the main exhibition. The ‘World Construction Symposium’ with the participation of foreign construction giants will take place simultaneous during the expo, we have themed this year as ‘the only green building exhibition’, to keep in line with current world trends in renewable energy and certification,” said Lanka Exhibition and Conference Services CEO Aasim Mukthar.
He further went on to mention that over 60 Chinese companies will be participating under a special pavilion from Fujian Prov-ince, Liaoning Province, Jiangxi Province, Hunan Province, Hangzhou City, Shao-xing City Provinces. The visiting Chinese delegation will be having B2B meetings and will be on the lookout for prospective agents and distributors.
Sri Lanka is currently experiencing a gradual boom in construction with both urban and rural areas being developed in order to be on par with the standards of developed nations. As much as government ventures and corporate ventures in construction are gathering momentum, single unit consumers who are largely families who seek to build their home or further their construction related need are among the thousands of visitors who gather during the event spanning three days.
This will be one of a kind with almost every stakeholder related to the industry being present. The consumers have grown to look at the exhibition as the one stop shop’ to suit their needs and over the years many consumers do all their purchases, inquiries and other related work during the three days of the show.
