DHL Express expands Service Point network to Jaffna

DHL Express, the world’s leading international express services provider, opened a DHL Service Point in Jaffna, offering DHL services for express shipping needs for all its customers in northern Sri Lanka.

DHL Express has been in operation for over 30 years in Sri Lanka and its Service Point counter in Jaffna is the first within the north and east of the country.

DHL Service Point will offer the convenience of DHL’s fast, reliable delivery services to send and receive documents and packages to and from destinations in DHL’s global network of more than 220 countries and territories worldwide.

The DHL Service Point will also offer special services for time sensitive and specific business needs as well as free packaging options such as DHL Express Easy boxes and flyers.DHL Express Country Manager Manish Patel said: “In our pioneering effort to be close to our customers, our DHL Service Point in Jaffna is a natural next step. The DHL Service Point in Jaffna located at K.K.S Road was ceremoniously opened by local businessman Sivapalan and Vanaraja from Abans in the presence of key DHL officials. DHL Express is also present in Vauxhall Street, Colpetty, Nugegoda, Mount Lavinia, Panadura, Wattala, Seeduwa, Kandy, Kurunegala and Department of Immigration & Emigration.
