Much has been written and said about the end of the world which is now a few days away. Many have totally ignored this while some others have taken luxury bunkers for millions of dollars underground in unknown locations in developed countries. A collective fear of death has crept into the masses and one way out is to be consoled by the version that it will never take place.

Be that as it may, the writer’s intention is to focus readers’ attention on the fact that the news of the destruction of the world cutting through all fences irrespective of nations, cultures and religions, perhaps for the first time in the history of the mankind, could well be a chance to overcome all fears of life in any form and under any circumstances. This would mean freeing oneself from all fears, whether the prediction is true and false. Either way, there is nothing to lose, but to gain.

There are other ways of looking at this whole phenomenon. This is possible only if one leaves the bandwagon and thinks out of the box that would make the difference once in a lifetime. Under normal circumstances it will either happen or not happen. The notion that the destruction is happening over a period of time, would not make much of a difference.

One idea which is jointly shared among associates of E_sonet is the suggestion to die before the death. Not physically but psychologically and lead rest of your life citing what happens to you in life as a dream or an example. So one can presume to be dead well before the dooms day and let life goes on as normal. Since you are ‘considered’ dead, all your desires, ambitions, attachments may change drastically while the essential activities will take place with less or no emotions. This is the ideal time to test this.

Everything that one sees in the world should be happening in a dream or an example. Beginning with you, since you are presumed dead, your mere existence is a dream or an example. Whatever the task you handle is happening in a dream as an example as to how you would do something. This would not affect accuracy of your action adversely. On the contrary, they will be deadly accurate even if you are a rocket scientist! Your ability to be creative would be immense. If this is grasped immediately within yourself, further help will come to you inwardly and naturally.

The other one is to realise that the world is you. Everything is nothing but you. The five senses and the mind make the world sensually real. The optic illusion is reinforced by the smell, taste, sounds, touch and thoughts. It cannot exist outside you. The world is therefore illusory. It is merely a drama. The duality makes it a real drama. Once this is known, the end of the world will become irrelevant. If what is conspicuous is unreal, the destruction of the world will also be an illusion and the prediction will not bother anyone within such a realisation.

Then comes another view point, from the no self-theory. The self is made of all manmade identity, desires, ambitions, emotions and attachment, etc. The human aspect is overshadowed in every sense especially in today’s world. If one inquires what really causes the worry over the dooms day is the attachment and desires. This also entails detachment from unpleasant situations which in reality is a desire in another form. Once they are taken away, the fear should also disappear simultaneously.

This is a rare opportunity to see this reality as most human beings presently have a frame of mind passing through the last few days before end of the world. Our simple message is when one closes one’s eyes, the whole world disappears and so does the destruction of the world as there is no world to undergo destruction other than the world inside you.
