The Dynasty Residence apartment project, being built on the banks of the Mahaweli River in the ancient city of Kandy, promises to be the first and last of its kind. Construction of the much-anticipated project is now underway and heading towards a speedy completion set for April 2016 or sooner. This is a major achievement for the construction industry of Sri Lanka. Sanken Construction Ltd. Managing Director Eng. Ranjith Gunatilleke stated: “For us to maintain our reputation as a successful construction company, we have always paid detailed attention to three main areas: quality, time and cost control. We are very proud to get involved as a design-built contractor to develop this iconic project.” The Dynasty Residence, overlooking the breathtaking scenery of the lush hill capital, offers a new era of luxury and serene living by blending the regal grandeur of an ancient kingdom with modern city living brought about by world-class architectural designs, engineering and construction excellence. This is a one-of-a-kind project and construction work on it began in August 2014, seeing the completion of the ground floor structure and four other levels above which will house car parks, a swimming pool, a gym and other such common facilities. Level 5, which is the first apartment floor slab, is scheduled to be cast by the end of March 2015 and the balance 12 typical apartment floors will be concreted on a 14-day construction cycle. This iconic integrated apartment and hotel project will be the first and last one to feature two tall buildings near the majestic Mahaweli River near the Katugastota Bridge. The apartment complex has been designed as an 18-storey residential apartment complex with superior amenities. Dynasty Residencies boasts of 93 units including single, double, triple, and four-bedroom apartments with 180-degree panoramic views, two-storey sky villas and four penthouses with access to their own private sky gardens with golf putting and entertainment areas.
