Adhering to local as well as international green initiatives the Galadari Hotel celebrated Earth Hour on 28 March. The hotel organised a partial-electricity shut down from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the lobby and restaurant outlets. Guests were treated to an eco-friendly delicious ‘Veralu’ drink. An unplugged band kept everyone entertained whilst the General Manager Sampath Siriwardena and staff of the hotel joined in with the guests to light candles.
The Centre Lobby was illuminated with a beautifully candlelit centrepiece which guests joined in lighting. The California Grill restaurant too was attractively lit up with candles. The hotel has always saluted greener initiatives and celebrating Earth Hour is no exception.
