Hapag ups rates for East Asia-Colombo cargo

Hapag-Lloyd has announced a rate recovery program in East Asia (excluding Japan) to Indian Subcontinent effective 1 November, 2013. “We would like to inform you that Hapag-Lloyd will increase rates for all cargoes and all container types from East Asia (excluding Japan) to the Indian Subcontinent by $ 100 per TEU with effect from 1 November, 2013,” an announcement said. Indian Subcontinent covers ports in Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and India.
