Holcim wins big at SLIM Nielsen People’s Awards 2015

For the fourth consecutive year, Holcim Lanka, Sri Lanka’s leading provider of construction solutions won the ‘Housing and Construction Brand of the Year’ category at the 9th SLIM Nielsen People’s Awards 2015.
For SLIM Nielsen Awards, research was conducted on the preferences of over 2700 consumers between the ages of 15 to 65 from all nine provinces on their favourite brand, personalities, TV programs, etc.
Carried out during a period of six months from August to January 2014, the research exercise was conducted by Nielsen; the company believes that a consumer will have a deep emotional connection to a favourite brand, which can be listed as a powerful attribute for a brand’s success.
Globally recognised for its application based cement products that successfully meet household and industrial needs, Holcim has been associated with iconic construction projects worldwide. In Sri Lanka, Holcim Lanka has been associated with the construction industry at many levels, engaging in initiatives of national importance as well as providing localised know-how for all kinds of construction projects.
