IDB signs MOU with SL Sustainable Energy Authority

The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is made and entered into in Colombo on 9 June 2014 by and between the Industrial Development Board which is the premier government organisation holding the mandate to promote and develop small and medium Industries (SMIs) in the country with Sri Lanka Sustainable Energy Authority.
IDB Chairman Nawaz Rajabdeen has planned to carry out projects on industrial symbiosis with view of introducing advanced technology and modern machinery and equipment in order to sustain the energy and natural resources of the country finding tailor made solutions for industrial related problems.
Sustainable Energy Authority Sri Lanka Chairman Prasad Galhena identified the need to support the small and Medium Industries and join hands with IDB in the programs and expressed willingness to industrial process optimisation methods, developing technologies and equipment which support industries and sustainable energy usage as business strategy.
He also expressed the need to assist IDB in developing cooperation technology with local/international agencies.
