A workshop organised by the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka will take place at Cinnamon Grand today and will delve into the present and future roles of lubricant industry regulation.
The full day event will cover the latest innovations in lubricant technology and will review the regulatory environment standards from an industry player prospective. The keynote address will be delivered by Secretary Ministry of Petroleum Industries Dr. R.H.S. Samartunge, and the Chief Guest of the event will be Minister of Petroleum Industries Susil Premajayantha.
This occasion will provide specialists in the motor and petroleum industries to share and collect ideas on the future of lubrication within the Sri Lankan market. One of the single largest applications for lubricants, is in the form of motor oil, it is designed to protect the internal combustion engines in motor vehicles and powered equipment.
As it stands, there is a lot of debate in the quality and pricing of lubricants and petroleum today, vast research and time has gone into developing this programme and is sure to see positive contributions filter into the market place.
