International Research Symposium to be held in Sri Lanka for the first time

The Pioneer Institute of Business and Technology (PIBT) is one of the top recognised higher-education institutes in Sri Lanka, and takes great pleasure in joining young students to be professionals in the trade of Information Technology (IT).

PIBT offers internal British IT Degrees in Sri Lanka, in affiliation with the University of Greenwich, which is a prestigious second largest State University in UK, with a rich and illustrious educational history that dates back to 1890.

It is also listed as a world heritage site by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) and has been awarded the Queens Anniversary Prize for Higher Education and Top in London for Teaching Excellence - 2012.

PIBT with TIRS (Technology International Research Symposium) in collaboration with the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences (CMS), University of Greenwich will be proud to announce the PIBT International Research Symposium – 2012, under the theme of ‘Future Research Needs in Developing Sri Lanka, Concepts, Trends and Vision’, which will be the first ever research symposium organised by a private institution.

This ceremonial event will be held at Pioneer Institute of Business and Technology (PIBT) - a pioneering institute in offering British Degrees in Sri Lanka.

The event will be held on 25 November 2012 at 9.00 a.m. at the Pioneer Institute of Business and Technology, 51, Flower Road, Colombo 7.
