Having enjoyed 60 years of bilateral friendship, Sri Lanka and Japan have strengthened ties over the years and Japan has supported Sri Lanka in its attempt to develop and rise up to create an image of economic prosperity after years of civil unrest, says Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to Japan Admiral Wasantha Karannagoda.
