Lanka Aluminium Industries PLC – the pioneer in the manufacture of aluminium extrusions for the commercial and residential construction industry – recently launched a range of innovative solutions amidst a gathering of distinguished architects, engineers and other industry related personnel. The new innovations included the Aluminium Handrail, Sun Louver and the Aluminium Grill.
The light-weight, maintenance free Aluminium Handrail introduced can create many designs to blend with the surrounding aesthetics. It can even be used in harsh and corrosive outdoor environments while maintaining its lustre. It is ideal for hotels and residences that are located in high salinity environments.
The Sun Louver is specially designed to be used in buildings which require Green certifications by acting as a sunshade to cut off the heat. Sun Louvers can also be used as internal partitions of buildings or residences. A unique design characteristic of the Sun louver is the ability to easily adjust its width over a range of 200 mm to 1,000 mm and above.
The reinforced Aluminium Grill is ideal to be mounted from the inside or from outside of a building. This feature of the Aluminium Grill helps to prevent intrusions and hence enhances the security of the building or residence.
All of these innovative solutions are available in 160 powder coated colours, anodized finishes as well as in Lanka Aluminium’s unique Satin finishes.
“We believe that this is an ideal time to introduce these innovations to the market,” said Lanka Aluminium Industries PLC Managing Director Dinal Peiris.
