Ummu Zavaya Mosque Colombo 12, Board of Trustees have organised Meeald un Nabi celebration to mark the Holy Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday on 14 January (Tuesday) at 8.00 a.m. at the Mosque.
It will be held under the patronage of Kaleefathul Kulafa Moulavi J. Abdul Hameed (Bahji).
The SLBC Muslim Service will broadcast the mowlood program live from 8.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. Ulamas Muqqaddams and Ikwans will participate in the majlis.
All Ceylon YMMA Conference has also organised 64th Meeald un Nabi to be held on 14 January at 4.00 p.m. at Wilson Street, Colombo 12. Kaleefathul Shazuli Asseyed Alavi Moulana will be the guest speaker.
Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation Muslim Unit has organised Meelad un Nabi program which will be telecasted on the same day from 4.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. Discussions between inter religious leaders, Islamic songs, dramas and speeches relating to the special day will be telecasted.
