National PVC appoints another distributor in Colombo

Central Industries PLC, the manufacturer of the well-known National PVC pipes and fittings, appointed Winkem Agricare Ltd., No. 17 B, Central Road, Colombo 12 as its new Distributor for Colombo Central.
Winkem Agricare Partners Karupanapillai Krishnamoorthi, Krishnamoorthi Prasan-na and Karupaiah Balasubramaniyam are well known businessmen in the area and are popular among the public and the Hardware dealers. A large representatives gathering of well wishes, dealers and officials were presented at the opening ceremony.
The new Distributor outlet will greatly help to offer a speedy service to the dealers in Armour Street, Messenger Street, Old Moor Street, Bandaranayaka Mawatha, Quarry Road, Central Road and Pettah market. A spokesman for the company said that the high quality of products marketed by Central Industries PLC, especially National PVC pipes and fittings, are much favored by the house builders in the market.
Central Industries PLC is the first manufacturer to be awarded the SLS 147 and 659 for pipes and fittings in Sri Lanka. The company also manufactures rain water gutters, flexi and rigid electrical conduits, solvent cement, PE pipes, PE water tanks, stainless steel tanks, septic tanks, garden hoses, national compact ball valves and krypton electrical switches and accessories in its factory.
Most of the leading construction companies in the country favor the National PVC products as they are aware of the high quality maintained by the company. The Dealer Network Division which looks after the domestic reselling market has well over 30 Distributors who are operating island wide. This has helped them to offer a superior service to the hardware market.
