Alpha Industries, one of the leading furniture manufacturers in Sri Lanka, launched the latest Concept Store in Matara recently.
Located at No. 203, Anagarika Dharmapala Mawatha, Nupe, Matara the new Concept Store showcases contemporary design ideas featuring innovative and creative for living spaces, dining spaces, bedroom spaces and home offices. Alpha also presents a range of unique, hand crafted and environmentally friendly lamps to accentuate any space.
Speaking about the new Concept Store, Manager Sales - Showroom Division Radika Amarasiri stated: “All Alpha Concept Stores have been created to bring a new dimension to the furniture shopping experience of our valued customers and this Concept Store is no different. The showroom is relocation and an upgraded version of the original Alpha Showroom.” He added that the Concept Store features the latest home furniture that Alpha has to offer, all laid out in a luxurious manner, making it easy for the customer to visualise how the units fit into his or her home. Established in 1963, Alpha Industries is a subsidiary of Finco Group that manufactured steel office furniture during its early days and later expanded to manufacture all kinds of security safes for which it continues to be the market leader even today. FINCOs other business interests span across construction, property development, IT solutions, travel, leisure, green energy and engineering services.
The company later ventured into the manufacturing of melamine and wood-base office furniture in addition to designing and executing its own office and commercial interiors. Today, Alpha also manufactures furniture for homes, hospitals and the leisure sector. The company operates three factories and employs more than 650 employees.
