Ontv.lk launches online TV guide

Ontv.lk, a website which allows Sri Lankans to be up-to-date with their daily television schedule, was launched recently with the support of all major TV stations in Sri Lanka.

This online TV guide will allow people to be informed and updated on all TV programs on all the channels available in Sri Lanka. With a viewership of 85,000 since its launch a month back, it clearly indicates the pressing need for a updated TV schedule. “People want to know what is showing on TV in order to plan out their evening and this was not possible before. There are no other sites available, mass media or other, which provide such accurate information. We have the support of all the major television channels in Sri Lanka and they feel we are solving a great problem for them by communicating their schedules to the general public,” said Ontv.lk CEO Sanna Khaled. The site is accessible on computer, tablet and smartphone and the team is aiming to become a top site in Sri Lanka within a short period. With its potential to offer more features in the future, Ontv.lk will continue with its efforts to serve the people as the only online television guide in Sri Lanka.
