Sri Lanka will be represented at the coveted Asia Pacific Property Awards Summit, today (Friday, 8 April) held in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia and attended by companies collectively responsible for billions of dollars’ worth of residential and commercial real estate projects across the Asia Pacific region. The awards ceremony will be participated not only real estate professionals but also by architects, developers, interior designers, leading technology and luxury brands, global and local suppliers and service providers, as well as industry experts and influencers.
The Asia Pacific Property Summit will ceremoniously culminate the two day host exhibition and networking summit IPAX Asia Pacific that attracts the finest companies and individuals from across the field of architecture, interior design, property development, real estate and the like in the region.
Some of Asia’s top Real Estate Developers from India, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, China, Indonesia, Philippines, Cambodia as well as Sri Lanka have been awarded by this world renowned mark of excellence in the property industry in the past. Participants who enter at their relevant national level are judged by a highly experienced team of professionals who cover the entire range of property disciplines. Asia Pacific Property Awards celebrate the highest level of achievement by companies operating in all sectors of the property and real estate industry. The awards are given for the quality of design, construction, presentation of individual properties and property developments, interior and marketing.
Launched in London in 1995, The International Property Awards, covered 10 different residential categories and evolved in to regional awards bodies to cover Asia Pacific, America and Europe in 2008. Today the Asia Pacific Property Award is recognised and supported by 15 professional bodies worldwide and over 50 experts in the field of Real Estate from around the world.

CBRE Group Inc, a Fortune 500 and an S & P 500 company, also known as the world’s largest commercial real estate services and investment firm in terms of revenue by the year 2015, has won numerous awards at the Asia Pacific Property Awards including 30 awards in total spanning in different categories in the year 2013, 11 national awards in 2014 and 19 national awards and eight regional nominations in 2015.

In 2015, Sri Lankan entity Blue Mountain Properties created history by winning the highly coveted 5 star award in the “Property Consultancy Marketing” category for its innovative gated community developments at the Asia Pacific Property Awards Summit held in Malaysia.
