SriLankan Airlines’ frequent flyer program, FlySmiLes entered into a partnership with Loon Tao and Tsing Tao to offer its members a host of attractive benefits. Accordingly, for every Rs. 100 spent, FlySmiLes members can earn one FlySmiLes mile and the opportunity to redeem their miles when dining at any of the two restaurants.
Tsing Tao is located at Colombo Racecourse Promenade while Loon Tao is situated adjoining the breath-taking Mount Lavinia Beach. Both restaurants are frequented by locals and tourists alike which are no mere venues for dining but also ideal places to host parties and corporate events/functions.
Loon Tao and Tsing Tao Restaurants Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer Janaka Wimalananda said: “I believe this partnership between Loon Tao, Tsing Tao and SriLankan Airlines’ FlySmiLes is a significant one. As the national carrier, SriLankan will continue to serve our frequent flyers through similar partnerships where our members can continue to feel and enjoy the presence of SriLankan even when they are on-ground.” FlySmiLes offers its members an extensive range of benefits, with the Airline’s induction to the oneworld airline alliance in May this year. FlySmilLes is made up of five tiers; Platinum, Gold, Classic, Silver and blue. FlySmiLes Club, the top tier frequent flyer categories, comprised of Platinum, Gold and Classic are matched with the corresponding oneworld top tiers.
Loon Tao and Tsing Tao are the two most celebrated Chinese seafood restaurants in Sri Lanka, that boast of culinary teams headed by veteran master chefs from mainland China. Both restaurants serve mouth-watering culinary delights prepared with the use of fresh produce.
