Celia, a leading French milk brand for prospective, pregnant and breastfeeding mothers and young children under three years developed according to the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and the European Paediatric Association recommendations, has appointed Sunshine Healthcare Lanka Ltd. (SHL) as its sole distributor in Sri Lanka.
Sold in 40 countries and manufactured by Lactalis – a French producer with vast expertise in nutrition supplements for infants and mothers which has been in operation for nearly 90 years (since 1927) – Celia products made available in Sri Lanka by Sunshine Healthcare will be directly imported from France. Celia producer, Lactalis, is the largest dairy manufacturer in Europe.
Celia is manufactured in conformity with the stringent International Food Safety Standards (IFS), World Health Organization (WHO), International Standards Organization (ISO) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines, with virtually no human touch involved, in a fully secure environment and using a highly technologically advanced process – which even allows each Celia product to be traced back to the individual cow the milk is obtained from.
Celia is now available in 400g packaging at leading supermarkets and pharmacies in the country including at Healthguard – the country’s leading health, wellness and beauty retailer and also part of Sunshine Healthcare Lanka.
Products from the Celia range have been manufactured with special focus on digestive comfort. Celia assists in brain maturation, immunity reinforcement and reduction of infection and obesity risks for children. Celia products for prospective, pregnant and breastfeeding mothers are intended to assist them in improving their confidence in childbirth by supporting the brain development of the unborn child while providing vitamin supplements and preventing iron and calcium deficiencies. Celia therefore supports a mother’s confidence and the baby’s harmonious growth.
