UltraTech Cement, Sri Lanka extended its appreciation towards its channel partners for their valuable support and contribution, with overseas visits to exciting destinations. Three groups of selected distributors, dealers, key customers and consultants were taken on visits to Dubai, China and Malaysia as a gesture of gratitude and respect from the company for being a part of UltraTech, Sri Lanka’s journey and for their hard work and effort rendered over the years.
The trip was held to coincide with the school vacations so as to accommodate spouses and family members, who were treated to an all-inclusive travel experience which spanned Beijing, Shanghai, Kuala Lampur, Genting Highlands and sights in Dubai.
“We enjoyed ourselves greatly and the trip was well organized with excellent accommodation. From all the sights we saw, Genting Highlands and Putrajaya were firm favourites and the visit to the Chocolate Factory was particularly memorable. I was appreciative of the fact that the company took an extra effort to make us comfortable, even seeking out food similar to our own Sri Lankan food to gently ease us into Malaysian cuisine,” said Mohamed Ikram, a distributor from Panduwasnuwara who has been with the company for two and a half years.
Ranaweera, a distributor from Peradeniya, also voiced his gratitude to the company for the unique opportunity to tour Dubai with his family and enjoy the sights of the vibrant city. “I have been a distributor for UltraTech Cement, Sri Lanka for the past five years and am extremely satisfied with the quality of the products offered.”
The visits provided an opportunity for the management to interact and engage with their various partners outside an official setting, extend their appreciation and also to obtain feedback in order to amplify and improve the level of products and services offered by the company.
“At UltraTech Cement Sri Lanka, we firmly believe in demonstrating our appreciation towards the partners in our business in perceptible ways on an ongoing basis. We started our operations 14 years ago and our journey so far has been an immensely rewarding one. Building and sustaining solid, meaningful relationships is a core value deeply embedded in all our activities - we will not be where we are without the support of numerous partners and we are always grateful for this,” said Kiran Redkar, Chief Executive, UltraTech Cement, Sri Lanka
