Union Bank Piyawara children’s art competition

A children’s art competition was launched in the Gampaha branch of Union Bank to encourage and harness the creative talents of children. The art competition is open to all children in the ages of 3 to 15 years. Participants can select from a choice of topics for their drawings.

The winners will be selected from three age groups and will receive attractive prizes of Rs. 25,000 (first place), Rs. 15,000 (second place) and Rs. 10,000 (third place). In addition Union Bank will also donate to the winners schools Rs. 10,000 towards the school development fund. The art competition is open to all children in the above age group who are within 30 Kms from the Union Bank Gampaha Branch. To participate, a Piyawara minor savings account with a minimum deposit of Rs 250 has to be opened in the Gampaha branch of Union Bank. The closing date would be 15 October.
