Vietnamese Food Festival a success at Ceylon Continental Hotel

The Ceylon Continental Hotel in unison with Embassy of Viatnam and the expert Chef Duong Tran Thai who flew in from Vietnam were able to impress the invitees and the diners at the opening of Vietnamese Food Festival held at the Emerald on 26th August 2011.

In celebrations with the national Day of Vietnamese, hotel held this tantalizing food festival specially designed to attract lovers of Vietnamese cuisine in Sri Lanka. Especially decked in traditional décor with bamboo and nón lá (leaf hat) the location offered an excellent ambience to those who patronized the Vietnamese food promotion held from the 26th to 29th August 2011.

Authentic Vietnamese food with accompaniment of the live music by Ms. Tao Thi Minh Ngoc offered a great experience to those who attend the event. Ton Sinh Thanh- Ambassador of Viatnamese Embassy graced the occasion as the chief Guest while Mr. & Mrs. Tilak Amunugama –Secretary of Foreign Ministry, Dr.  & Mrs. Nalaka Godahewa - Chairman of Sri Lanka Tourism were amongst the distinguished guests.
