As an additional event in the World Spice Food Festival, this year Sri Lanka Tourism together with the Ceylon Hotel School Graduates Association (CHSGA) and the Sri Lanka Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management (SLITHM) is bringing down an internationally renowned celebrity chef to introduce and demonstrate a few signature dishes and speak on new international trends and learning experience.
This event will be held on 2 and 3 November at the SLITHM, this is an opportunity not to be missed by the senior hotel and restaurant chefs to indulge in the culinary professionalism of celebrity chef Bjorn Van Der Host of Netherlands.
The Celebrity Chef Bjorn Van Der Horst has working experience in two and three Star Michelin restaurants in France, England and the US. He has been the Head Chef of the famous Picholine – New York, owned by well renowned Chef Owner Terrance Brennan.
He has worked as Chef/Patron of La Noisette London and Alain Ducasse Paris. During his 22 years of experience he has worked in some of the leading world famous fine dining restaurants which also include Le Gavroche London, Le Louis XV Monte Carlo, Russian Tea Room New York and the Greenhouse London.
He recently opened his own restaurant called the Eastside Inn in London where the wealthy fine food lovers, international travellers and other professionals in the gastronomic industry follow his exciting culinary world. Contact the CHSGA Office for participation.
