Sun FM, along with the Ruhunu Tourist Bureau and HTSPA presents Hikka 2011, South Asia’s biggest beach festival from 29 -31 July. Set to transform Hikkaduwa into one fabulous party, Hikka 2011 will come alive, with over 5,000 people expected to attend.
This year’s top international artist, Yves Larock will perform at Hikka 2011. He is one of the world’s most recognised producers and is a highly renowned international DJ. Over the past few years Larock has been behind a string of international cross-over hits such as ‘Zookey’ and ‘Rise Up’.
Taking influence from a wide musical spectrum, Larock’s unique production style brings together elements of House, Hip-Hop, R&B, Reggae and Electro.
Announcing a new radio residency with Sun FM, Yves Larock will launch ‘Milliarock’, which will feature the best in terms of House and Progressive Music every Saturday from 2 p.m-3 p.m. Larocks radio show is hugely popular across the world, and currently has over 14 million listeners tuning in, and is broadcast across 13 different countries over 16 separate stations.
