In light of the ongoing global health crisis, the organisers of the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards have made the responsible decision of postponing their black-tie gala dinner and award ceremony in Colombo, which will now take place on Friday, 6 November, replacing the original date of 17 July.
The highly-awaited affair, which will present accolades for the finest developers and projects in Sri Lanka and the Maldives, will be held at the Shangri-La Hotel, Colombo. The hotel management will carry out temperature checks, provide access to hand sanitation, promote the use of face masks in high-risk areas, and implement other precautionary health measures leading up to and on the gala night.
Existing entries are judged as usual based on established criteria.
The postponement extends the nominations period until 14 August; the general public is encouraged to submit their nominations via this link: https://www.asiapropertyawards.com/en/nominations/
New key dates for the 2020 edition are:
14 August – Nominations Close
21 August – Entries Close
31 August-11 September – Site Inspections
11 or 14 September – Final Judging
6 November – Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony in Colombo, Sri Lanka
