Sri Lanka’s premier Construction Expo bringing together both local and international suppliers and service organisations in the building, construction, engineering and architecture industry will open today at BMICH and go on until Sunday daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Organised and managed by Lanka Exhibition and Conference Services Ltd. in collaboration with the Ceylon Institute of Builders (CIOB) for the seventh consecutive year, the organisers hope it would be the platform in which the future development of the industry would take place.
As the expo would showcase a wide array of all personnel involved or linked with the construction industry, the trade show is quintessential for home builders or anyone hoping to own their own property in the future. 2018 Construct Expo aims to provide avenues for home builders to secure a home through financial assistance, construction and interior.
The Expo has successfully acquired over 200 local and international vendors displaying a wide spectrum of construction products and services proving to be a home builder’s ideal source of information and suppliers. The trade show is exemplary to expedite a homebuilder’s vision from inception to completion. A home builder is able to procure information and advice about home loans engineering queries, power efficient solutions such as solar power, architectural guidelines, furnishing aspects, roofing, interior solutions such as flooring, lighting, air conditioning, wall tiles and innovative pantry cupboards – almost everything and anything that encompasses construction. Engineering plans can be consulted and a total complete construction solution can be obtained for implementation. As Sri Lankans are success centred, the expo would feature a distinct aspect called Vaastu Vidya where expert advisers will provide guidance to align construction to harvest joy, wealth and prosperity.
The tradeshow will be an interactive three-day hub that would impart vital construction knowledge for anyone visiting the expo be it a home builder or an entrepreneur. Free seminars will be conducted on Saturday (30) and 1 July by established organisations on trending topics.
The 2018 Construct Expo trade show is endorsed by two bodies. Locally the event is endorsed by the Ministry of Megapolis and Western Development and the construction fraternity as it’s the distinguished construction and building materials exhibition to be staged in Sri Lanka.
EEPC a premier trade and investment promotion organisation in India will be the international supporter endorser for the trade show. EEPC India is a reference point to the Indian engineering industry that works towards to establishing India a major engineering hub.
A 50-member high-profile delegation, led by the Business Department of Liaoning Province and Shenyang Zhongqiao International Exhibition Co. Ltd, will arrive in Colombo to attend the Construction Expo 2018, scheduled to be held at the BMICH.
The objective of the visit is to actively promote economic and trade cooperation between Sri Lanka and the Liaoning region of China. A powerful group with large enterprises in the subordinate seven cities from the Liaoning Province will be showcasing construction materials, hardware fitting, ceramics, aluminium alloy material, bedding and so on in the event.
