The Ceylon Institute of Builders (CIOB) is encouraging Sri Lankan firms to participate in the Building, Construction, Engineering, and Machinery Expo (BUILDMACEX) in Nigeria showcasing it as an ideal opportunity to tap new business opportunities.

In Sri Lanka to promote the event was BUILDMACEX organiser Atlantic Exhibition Ltd. CEO Ayodeji Olugbade, who along with CIOB officials shared key insights.

According to Olugbade, the eighth edition of BUILDMACEX 2023, which will take place from 21 to 23 March, at the Eko Hotel Convention Centre, Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island Lagos, Nigeria, will feature building, construction, engineering, and machinery companies from Sri Lanka, the majority of which are members of the Ceylon Institute of Builders.

Along with Sri Lankan firms, we also have exhibitors from China, Japan, Indonesia, the United Arab Emirates, and India. Professionals, trade dealers, supply chain agents, and stakeholders from Nigeria and other West African nations will participate in this special B2B exhibition. The three-day show will feature around 3,000 people, 100 exhibitors, 10 countries, 15 speakers, and 5 sponsors, he said.

“This project is part of the Ceylon Institute of Builders’ roadmap to strengthen bilateral commercial relationships with foreign businesses, particularly Nigeria.” He exhorts members to participate in the exhibition and take advantage of this opportunity.
