Homelands Skyline, a leading name in the real estate industry in Sri Lanka has broken records and revolutionised the industry by completing 500 sales of apartments and houses in a single year. These apartment sales were recorded mainly in Canterbury Golf Resort Apartments – Piliyandala, Kahathuduwa and Elixia 3C’s Resort Apartments – Malabe and Ariyana Resort Apartments – Athurugiriya.
Year 2020 has left the local and global economy in a steep decline. Recognizing the many local and global challenges that every individual and company in every industry has been facing due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Homelands Skyline is proud to highlight this great achievement on reaching above and beyond the targets set for this year. Homelands Skyline Chairman and Managing Director Nalin Herath said; “Through dealing with the challenges we faced in the past year with the COVID 19 pandemic, we were able to successfully identify and reach the untouched areas in the real estate sector and withstand the storm of a heavy crisis situation, and come out of it successfully.
“We also want to appreciate the undying dedication of our sales staff. Due to their adaptation to the timely transformation from traditional marketing to digital marketing, we were able to successfully stay ahead of the curve regardless of the effects the pandemic had on the industry, and thereby, reach 500 sales this year.
It is with pride that we notice the efforts of our staff who both efficiently and effectively adapted to the ‘new normal’ and was able to drive home a large number of sales before the end of the year.”
He further explained that as a result of the loans that Homelands Skyline receives at a lower interest rate as well as the tax and VAT exemptions provided to them on construction material by the Government last year (2019), Homelands Skyline was able to provide the completed apartments to their residents at a competitive and an affordable price when compared to others in the sector.
During this past year, Homelands Skyline also made its mark in the real-estate sector in Sri Lanka by introducing the ‘resort living’ concept to the country with Ariyana Resort Apartment – Athurugiriya and has also succeeded in including a variety of value additions to its projects with COVID-19 in mind, like the Wellness Center at Canterbury Golf Resort Apartments – Piliyandala, Kahathuduwa.
