In a bid to expand the Bank’s reach, and to ensure customer convenience, National Development Bank PLC recently partnered with Homelands Skyline to install Cash Recycle Machines (CRM) in three Homelands Skyline locations.

Homelands Skyline is committed to offering more than just real estate to their customers; they also offer and promote a brand-new way of life. Going hand in hand with this, the installation of the NDB CRM has enabled Homelands Skyline to digitalise their payment procedure in order to provide the most convenient service possible, with the aim of making a wide variety of facilities and services available to their customers, thus improving their living standards. One of the most critical aspects of a CRM is the ability to make real-time cash deposits into a customer’s current or savings account on a 24x 7 x 365 basis.

With this cash recycling machine, the Bank has now launched round-the-clock banking at three of Homelands Skyline’s apartment and residency locations: Luxe Highway Residencies – Kottawa, Canterbury Golf Resort Apartments and Residency – Piliyandala – Kahathuduwa, and Ariyana Resort Apartments – Athurugiriya. NDB has facilitated a one stop payment solution for the residents of Homelands Skyline, where they would be able to pay recurring payments such rents to Homelands Skyline easily through the CRM. Further, the staff and residents of Homelands Skyline as well as other NDB customers are now able to carry out banking transactions such as cash withdrawals, cash deposits, balance inquiries and fund transfers easily and conveniently.

The Bank was recently named the ‘Best Digital Bank in Sri Lanka’ by Asiamoney. NDB Bank which was also crowned as ‘Sri Lanka’s Best Bank 2021’ by the prestigious Global Finance Magazine of USA, fresh on the heels of being recognised as ‘The Bank of the Year Sri Lanka’, by The Banker Magazine UK, is the fourth largest listed bank in Sri Lanka and the parent company of the NDB Group. The only financial services conglomerate in Sri Lanka, NDB Group is uniquely positioned towards assisting the growth and development of the Sri Lankan capital market to provide its customers seamless access to the product and service offerings of all its group companies.
