The National Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Construction Industry Development Authority (CIDA), will hold a seminar on the construction industry on 28 September from 3.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. at the National Chamber Auditorium, No. 450 D.R. Wijewardene Mawatha, Colombo 10.

The panellists will be Vocational Training Authority (VTA) Chairman Eng. Dr Lionel Pinto; VTA Director General Chulangani Perera; VTA Director (Training) Shanthi Edirisinghe and VTA Director (Projects) S. Senaweera.
NCCSL said Sri Lanka today was witnessing a massive boom in the real estate and construction industry. The Western Region Megapolis project along with the big government infrastructure projects and rising demand for high-rises will provide a huge boost to the overall construction sector in the next few years.
