The National Construction Association of Sri Lanka(NCASL) has launched the premier housing and construction exhibition with a decade-long success story as its 19th consecutive exhibition. The 2019 edition, is presented at the Oak room of the Cinnamon Grand Hotel, themed ‘Build Smart – Live Smart’, witha revolutionary hi-tech,smart, future shaping andconsumer-focused approach.
Construct 2019 has marked its position as ‘Sri Lanka’s No. 1 construction exhibition’ to provide services on all housing and construction needs of the nation.
The exhibition is scheduled to be held on 24, 25 and 26 August, at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH), Sirimavo Bandaranaike Exhibition Centre, Colombo, Sri Lanka.
The exhibition will expose visitors to the vast number of choices and alternatives in housing and construction streams with close to 250 trade stalls including reputed brands as partners and expected to be hosted at the exhibition. Among these, there are some of the best brands from countries such as China, Malaysia, Korea and India which will showcase their products and services directly or through local agents.The exhibition is Sri Lanka’slargest and most promising construction industry-related exhibition showcasing buildingmaterials, building services and construction equipment among a wide range of other standardised services.
NCASL Chairman Susantha Liyanarachchi speaking at the occasion said that it was a tremendous achievement to successfully complete 19 years and that 2019 marks a new era for the expo.
He highlighted that the exhibition is highly focused on the segmentation and specifically focused in consumer needs with the strong belief that a solid foundation with high quality service is the key to success rather than organising just a construction fair.
Liyanarachchi alsoemphasised the ‘Build Smart – Live Smart’ theme that concentrates on making the exhibition productive to all stakeholders with the vision of future development. Anyone who is visiting the exhibition will benefit from the maturity and experience of the event where his expectations are fulfilled with the utmost satisfaction. The Chairman stressed that this is the most important area that empowers any individual to make effective choices amongoptions and that participation would also benefit by passing on information toothers.
