RBC Cement Panels by Rhino Roofing secures Gold at CIOB Green Awards 2024

RBS Cement Panels, a pioneering innovation by Rhino Roofing Products Ltd., won the “Gold Award” at the CIOB Green Awards 2024 held recently. 

The accolade was conferred by the Ceylon Institute of Builders (CIOB) during a prestigious ceremony held at the Taj Samudra, coinciding with the 12th World Construction Symposium.

This recognition solidifies RBS Cement Panels as the “Great Wall of Sri Lanka,” marking a significant advancement in the nation’s construction methodologies.

The CIOB Green Award is a testament to the transformative impact of RBS Cement Panels in fostering sustainable and cost-effective construction practices.

The award ceremony was attended by prominent figures in the construction sector, including architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, building contractors, property developers, and hoteliers. Innovators and undergraduates engaged in construction-related studies also witnessed this landmark achievement, reflecting the broad acceptance and influence of RBS Cement Panels among industry leaders and the general public.

Earlier this year, in February 2024, RBS Cement Panels were honoured with the “Excellence Award” by the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects (SLIA) at the Annual Product Awards 2024. This accolade recognised RBS Cement Panels in the category of “Locally made products and materials that are innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective”. Additionally, in July 2024, RBS Cement Panels attained ISO 9001:2015 certification for its Quality Management System, further affirming the product’s commitment to excellence.
