The Bohra Group of Companies with its German collaboration, having a strong track record of over 60 years in the paint industry has launched Renovo synthetic and silicon based paint and waterproofing materials in Sri Lanka in exclusive association with Paintfirst Ltd.

Renovo which is a product of Germany, and is manufactured in India for the global market, gives a superior finish and aesthetic look for the exterior surfaces of a building with longer warranty of up to 15 years, against fading, water seepage, fungus growth, hairline cracks and many more common defects of a normal building. The application of a conventional acrylic based paint would last not more than five to seven years, whereas Renovo would last far beyond 15 years. This is as Renovo uses its latest R&D and nanotechnology of synthetic and silicon based fibre properties. Being which, its dry film has more than 300% elasticity, with 0% tearing and discolorations at peak. Renovo becomes very cost effective in the growing expensive world, when compared to acrylic based conventional paints which are working out to be extremely expensive in the long run, in terms of repainting and maintenance, in addition to the ever-growing labour cost.

Renovo paint is not available in the retail market worldwide, as it is exclusively offered on apply and supply basis in order to ensure its highest quality standards. Today it dominates the majority market share in the corporate and commercial paint sector in India whilst having almost all the corporate bodies such as TATA Group, Taj Group of Hotels, Aditya Birla Group, ITC Hotels Group, Shapoorji Pallonji, The Residency Group of Hotels, Reliance, Infosys, Jain Irrigation, Larsen and Toubro, and many more as their regular clientele. Recently, Renovo was awarded the tender for painting the Genting Highlands in Malaysia and the metro project in Mauritius, to list a few.

Renovo has a range of products such as waterproofing, plaster, texture, and crack filler, in addition to the exterior and interior paint category, which all come with the unique possibility of any and many, unexplored colours.

Renovo paints is odour free, very low in VOC content and is at par with highest green building certification ratings, as tested and approved by IIT Bombay, SIRIM QAS International and many other NABL accredited lab.

The local partner, Paintfirst Ltd., has already completed the THOR executive office complex by Brandix in Colombo 3 with Renovo successfully, as its first project in Sri Lanka, and is currently working with some exclusive commercial and residential projects in the island.

Renovo commits to deliver a superior product with highest quality in the paint industry of Sri Lanka, in exclusive association with Paintfirst Ltd. as its local partner and Pabro Master Painters, the pioneers of rope access painting in Sri Lanka, as their authorised applicator.
