Royal Ceramics Lanka PLC (Rocell) recently held its 12th annual sales conference at Citrus – Waskaduwa as a means of training and development of sales staff of the company. A two-day program was held under the theme of ‘Service Excellence’. The guest trainer for this year’s conference was Deepal Sooriarachchi, being a visionary leader; he is a consistent contributor to the development of marketing profession and a brand-name in the corporate sector.
Rocell Managing Director Aravinda Perera, Director Marketing/Business Development Tharana Thoradeniya, the heads of factories, retail, manufacturing, marketing and audit departments addressed the gathering at the conference. The speakers focused more on how to deliver a better customer service while achieving sales targets.
In appreciation of the sales targets achieved, the management awarded overseas tours for teams who have performed well during the last financial year. Among them the best performed retail teams in both tile and bathware sectors were Seeduwa showroom, Eheliyagoda cutting centre and Jaffna showroom. Sanjeewa Galappaththi too was honoured for his achievement in both tile and bathware sales from the projects division.
Rocell as an icon who sets trends in Sri Lanka, in beautifying living spaces, is to release new designs and new sizes in tiles in order to add more value and creativity for their customers’ lifestyles. The company is in the process of enabling its presence throughout the country. The showroom network is to be expanded to reach-out to more customers/clients.
