SLIA signs MOUs with key sponsors for “Annual Sessions 2020’’

The 38th Annual Sessions of the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects (SLIA) is scheduled to be held from 19th to 23rd of February 2020 at the BMICH Colombo, comprising of a series of events including the

most prominent event of “Architect 2020 - Members’ Work and Trade Exhibition” under this year’s Theme – “The Art of Architecture – Space for All”.

In this connection the ceremony to sign the Memorandum of Understanding’s between SLIA and the Sponsors for the sessions of 2019-2020 was held at Hotel Kingsbury recently.

“Architect 2020”, presents a unique web portal, which allows for the trade with their products and services to be presented on a single platform alongside the Sri Lankan Architects. The exhibition itself is scheduled to be held in February 2020.

“Architect 2020” will shift away from the norm and go on to present a virtual e-exhibition where visitors could surf, compare, analyze – services, materials, and information of all products displayed in over 275 stalls along with 130 plus Architects’ panels via the internet.

The following prestigious companies have joined hands with SLIA to facilitate the 38th Annual Session to be held in February 2020.

Holding on to the “top spot” for the last several years, Nippon Paint Lanka Ltd. is the “Strategic Sponsor”;

Naveen Ceramics Ltd. the “Principal Sponsor” with Ranjana’s Ceramic Ltd. as the “Associate Sponsors”; Melwire Rolling Ltd. is the “Event sponsor”. The Kingsbury Colombo as the Official Hospitality Partner, Holiday Plan DMC as the Official Travel Partner; all Sponsors signed the Memorandums of Understanding with SLIA as the “Sponsors” for the Annual Session of 2019-2020.

Most of these esteemed organizations have been partners of the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects for the Annual Sessions for a very long period and yet again added strength to the “Architect 2020” Exhibition along with the other events of the 38th Annual Sessions.
