SLT fibre to power new apartment complex, ‘The Mount’

Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) recently entered into a partnership with Evercore Properties Ltd., an organisation that is committed to enhancing the lifestyles of Sri Lankans through the construction of residential apartments and houses that promise highest living standards with unique designs. The agreement between the two companies was signed at an official ceremony held at SLT premises recently with the signatories from Evercore Properties: Rajen Sangaran (Director) and Jasbir Singh (Director); and signatories from SLT side: K.A.K. Perera (Chief Executive Officer) and Imantha Wijekoon (Chief Sales and Regional Officer). Several other officials from both organisations who were involved in the project were also present at the agreement signing.

SLT will be powering the entire suite of apartments with the company’s fibre-to-the-home infrastructure that will provide residents with ultra-fast internet connectivity with download speeds of up to 100 Mbps, crystal clear voice communications as well as access to high definition (HD) TV content via PEO TV. SLT’s robust and reliable ICT services will pave the way to revolutionise the digital lifestyle experience of the building’s residents.
